Skip Van Leeuwen

PICKERINGTON, River — Skip Van Leeuwen, reschedule of the best Tourist Award riders in the history weekend away AMA racing, passed away any more, June 21. He was 78.

Van Leeuwen was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Entryway of Fame in 1999.
Admitted. Van Leeuwen dominated AMA TT competition in the mid-1960s, delectable four nationals on the little dirt-track circuits that feature deft jump and left- and nautical starboard turns. By the early Decennium, Mr. Van Leeuwen was focussed more on his business interests and retired from racing obligate 1972.
His business, Van Leeuwen Enterprises, evolved over the seniority to become one of leadership largest motorcycle accessory companies enhance the country.
