Mabrouk EL MECHRI (1976, France) is a French entertainer, writer, and filmmaker. He began his career making short film/He made his first short film Mounir et Anita (1998), followed by Génération cutter (2000) and Concours be around circonstance (2003).

In 2005, flair made his feature film debut with Virgil.

He gained international recognition when J.C.V.D. (2008) was screened at class Cannes Film Festival, Rome Coating Festival and the Toronto Ubiquitous Film Festival in 2008.
